Welcome to the website for the two churches of St Katharine, Knockholt & St Margaret, Halstead

Ultimately our aim is to provide up-to-date information on all that is happening in our churches and villages of Badgers Mount, Halstead and Knockholt for our current parishioners. There is also a wealth of information focussed on giving an insight into the active work of the two churches for those interested in moving to the area, as well as those wishing to research into local history.

We do encourage you to visit the website regularly so that you can keep up to speed on all that is going on in the near future. Most importantly, we hope you will find things of interest here. If you think of anything that you think we should consider adding to the website, we would appreciate your feedback.

Confirmation Service

26 Sep 2010 - 10:30am

We are holding a Confirmation Service at St Katharine's Church, Knockholt on Sunday 26th September at 10.30am.

Bishop Brian will confirm four candidates from our parishes (and some others too).

Confirmation is about accepting the "too good to be true" promises of our baptism. God says to us, as He did to Jesus: "You are my beloved child, with you I am well pleased!" That amazing statement is at the heart of Christianity.

It assures us of God's unconditional love for each and every person, a love that knows no limit. He even came to this earth as one of us, sharing our life… and our death, that we might know this love for always.
