From time to time we run Alpha Courses which have proven to be a excellent way in which people can explore just what the Christian faith is all about. It is relaxed and non-threatening, low-key, friendly and fun.

We have run courses in the daytime and in the evening and over 50 people from our two parishes have now completed Alpha. There is often a meal together, or some sort of sharing of food, and we meet in homes where we can feel comfortable and get to know each other.

Alpha courses consist of a series of talks looking at topics such as "Who is Jesus?" and "Why and how do I pray?"

Alpha is for:

• Those wanting to investigate Christianity
• New Christians
• Newcomers to the church
• Those who want to brush up on the basics

There is no charge for the Alpha Course, although you may be asked to make a contribution towards food. Why not try out an Alpha Course...? All we say is come along for one session and see what you make of it.
