Changes to Christmas Services

This is a general notice to draw your attention to the fact that a number of alterations have been made to the initial service list for December this year. We strongly advise that you take a look at our Services page to view the revised list. If you have any questions or queries regarding the changes, please do not hesitate to contact either John or Hugh.

Toy Services

There will be an opportunity to donate toys, in good condition, which will be given to the Salvation Army Family Centre in Dover to distribute to needy children in the area. We will be collecting toys at the Family Service at St. Katharine's on 23rd November and the United Communion at St. Margaret's on 30th November.

Would you like to join us for Christmas Choir at St. Margaret's Church?

We would love to welcome, as we have done in the past, any willing carol singers to step forward and join our choir for rehearsals. Any younger singers would also be most welcomed into the Youth Choir for this festive time of year. Whether you have any singing experience or not, you would certainly enjoy being a part of the 'Carols by Candlelight' service at 6pm on Sunday 21st December at St. Margaret's Church, Halstead.

Sevenoaks Travel is arranging a trip to The Oberammergau Passion Play leaving 18th June 2009. The trip also features Prague, Vienna and Budapest costing £1959. They are holding a Presentation Evening on Wednesday 12th November. For more information please phone 01732 458255.
