We have been invited to a "parish visit" to our Cathedral by the Dean on Saturday 18th October. There will be a guided tour by Canon Dr. Philip Hesketh, starting at 11.30am followed by tea in the Council Room at 1pm, we could then go on for lunch in the Refectory or the town, and maybe go on to see somewhere else. If you are interested in coming, it would be useful to know, to have an idea of numbers. It was felt that it would be easier to go in cars, offers and requests for lifts to the Rector please.

Organ recitals take place at St. Katharine's on Saturdays at midday. It is £6 on the door, and the organ console is viewable on a video screen. Dates of forthcoming recitals are listed below.

Our All Souls Service is to be held at St. Katharine's this year, on Sunday 2nd November at 6.30pm. This is a time to remember loved ones with thanksgiving and to find strength and encouragement in our faith. All are most welcome. If you would like a loved one's name remembered in the service there is a list at the back of church. The names of all who died this last twelve months will be read out any way.

This year, the 60th Anniversary of the end of WW1, we will hold the two minutes silence at 11am, at The Memorial, Knockholt. We suggest that children be brought to the school at 10.30am, where they will prepare their contributions and come to join the adults at the Memorial at 10.55am. They will return to Sunday Club as the Service continues in Church.

This quiet service, asking for God's healing and help will be held at St. Katharine's on Sunday 9th November at 6.30pm. All are most welcome to receive prayer for themselves, or others.

Please join us for Tots Praise, an informal time for songs and a story in the church. Usually beginning at 2.15pm, followed by refreshments in the Side Room at St. Katharine's Church, Knockholt. The dates until July 2009 are given below.
