Welcome to the new website for the two churches of St. Katharine, Knockholt and St. Margaret, Halstead.
Welcome to our new upgraded website. Although this design is only temporary, all of the content has been either totally rewritten or updated, with new features being added such as the interactive calendar - we apologise especially for the spacing issues on this current design. Our gratitude goes to Shaun Richards for his generous gift of time and expertise. We hope you will find things of interest here.
Our aim is to provide up-to-date information on all that is going on in our churches and villages of Badgers Mount, Halstead and Knockholt. We encourage you to visit this website regularly so that you can keep up to speed on all that is happening in the near future. At present, we have not fully completed renewing all of the content, and therefore we apologise for any incomplete sections, and would ask you to check back regularly as we quickly complete all of the information.
Tots Praise

Information on Tots Praise, an informal time for songs and a story in the churches, has now been uploaded, and all dates added to the calendar. Sessions usually beginning at 2.15pm, followed by refreshments in the Side/North Room. The dates that have been added cover until July 2009. If you require any further information, contact Jennifer Thomas on 01959 532664.

Parish Away-Day
This day on prayer will be led by The Rev’d Susanne Carlsson, the Diocesan Coordinator for Spirituality and Spiritual Direction. The venue and further details are to come, but keep the date free - Saturday 24th January 2009!
Visit to Rochester Cathedral
We have been invited to a "parish visit" to our Cathedral by the Dean on Saturday 18th October. There will be a guided tour by Canon Dr. Philip Hesketh, starting at 11.30am followed by tea in the Council Room at 1pm, we could then go on for lunch in the Refectory or the town, and maybe go on to see somewhere else. If you are interested in coming, it would be useful to know, to have an idea of numbers. It was felt that it would be easier to go in cars, offers and requests for lifts to the Rector please.
