Alpha Pages

What is the point of life? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible? What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?

 
From time to time we run Alpha Courses which have proven to be a excellent way in which people can explore just what the Christian faith is all about.

It is relaxed and non-threatening, low-key, friendly and fun.

We have run courses in the daytime and in the evening and over 50 people from our two parishes have now completed Alpha.

There is often a meal together, or some sort of sharing of food, and we meet in homes where we can feel comfortable and get to know each other.

Alpha courses consist of a series of talks looking at topics such as "Who is Jesus?" and "Why and how do I pray?"

Alpha is for:

  • Those wanting to investigate Christianity
  • New Christians
  • Newcomers to the church
  • Those who want to brush up on the basics

There is no charge for the Alpha Course, although you may be asked to make a contribution towards food.
