Hospice in the Weald Service of Rememberance & Thanksgiving
Hospice in the Weald holds services of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for bereaved families at The Hospice to which newly bereaved families are invited throughout the year. Many families find these services to be beneficial and have asked for an opportunity to gather for annual remembrance occasions.
Hospice in the Weald is responding to this request by instigating a Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving to be held on an annual basis, and is most grateful to the Rev'd Matthew Jackson and St Peter's Church, Pembury, for their support and agreement to the Service being held in the church.
The first of these services will be held at 6.30pm on Thursday, 22nd June at St Peter's Upper Church, Pembury and everyone who would like an opportunity to remember loved ones is most welcome to attend, regardless of whether that loved one had a connection with Hospice in the Weald. The service will include an opportunity to light a candle in remembrance, and on arrival at St Peter's Church to give the name of the person to be remembered so that the name can be included in the list of names of people read out during the service.
