Harvest Festival Collection

The Harvest Festival Service at St Margaret's will be the 10.0am service on Sunday 15th October. Our donations this year will be to the Manna Day Centre, which is a centre for the Homeless in South East London. Some suggestions of items which would be really useful are listed in the porch at St Margaret's, but some ideas are listed below:

  • Tinned foods (soup/tomatoes/hot dogs rice pud/custard/baked beans/tinned meat etc)
  • Pasta sauces
  • Cereals
  • Rice & Pasta
  • Biscuits
  • Jelly
  • Tea/Coffee/Squash
  • Bath towels/shampoo/shaving foam/soap/toothbrushes/deodorants
  • Blankets/sleeping bags
  • Men's underwear/socks/disposable razors/washing powder

If you prefer to bring perishable goods or fruit, these will be distributed amongst the elderly and needy of our village, and to the Cheshire Home at Chipstead Lakes.
