Service Types

8.00am Holy Communion (BCP)

A more traditional said service of Holy Communion in a quieter, more reflective atmosphere.

10.30am Family Service (CW)

A short, informal service tailored for all ages, from toddlers to older people. This is the service most suitable for children.

10.30am Family Communion (CW)

A modern language service of Communion with creche facilities for children and quieter activities provided for children aged 5-11.

Pathfinders (10-15 year-olds) meet in St. Katharine's School on 2nd Sunday of the month.

9.00am Choral Matins (BCP)

A traditional service of Morning Prayer with hymns, psalms, canticles and prayers structured around two Bible readings.

6.30pm Holy Communion (CW)

A modern language service of Communion with hymns and songs.

6.30pm Choral Evensong (BCP)

A traditional service of Evening Prayer with hymns, psalms, canticles and prayers structured around two Bible readings.

8.00pm Compline

A short 20 minute service at the end of the day, often by candlelight.

At Badgers Mount Memorial Hall:

4.00pm Winter - Holy Communion (CW)

6.00pm Summer - Holy Communion (CW)

A modern language service of Communion held in the round.




On Tuesday nights we occasionally hold an informal "Praise Service" in St. Margaret's, Halstead at 8.00pm. This is a short service lasting just 45 mins where we sing some of the newer songs and hymns and have the opportunity to be more flexible in our worship. Look out for dates in the Calendar of services for this month.
