Types of Service

8.00am Holy Communion (BCP)

A traditional said service of Holy Communion in a quieter and more reflective atmosphere.

9.00am Choral Matins (BCP)

A traditional service of Morning Prayer with hymns, psalms, canticles and prayers structured around two Bible readings. The worship is led by the Choir.

10.30am Family Service (CW)

A short, informal service tailored for all ages, from toddlers to older people. A screen is used for the words of lively traditional and modern hymns and illustrated talks. This is the service most suitable for children, lasting about 45 minutes. We encourage baptisms to take place at this service. A crèche is provided.

10.30am Family Communion (CW)

A modern language service of Communion with crèche facilities for pre-schoolers and activities for school aged children. Please see the Young People pages for more details.

6.30pm Holy Communion (CW)

A modern language service of Communion with hymns and songs.

6.30pm Choral Evensong (BCP)

A traditional service of Evening Prayer with hymns, psalms, canticles and prayers structured around two Bible readings.

At Badgers Mount Memorial Hall

4.00pm in Winter / 6.00pm in Summer - Holy Communion (CW): A modern language service of Communion held in the round.

10.30am Mid-Week Communion

This Communion service is held on the second Tuesday of each month. The service is followed by refreshments. This service alternates between the two churches.

A Service of Wholeness and Healing

This special service is held three times a year. Prayers and "laying on of hands" are offered at this quiet, reflective service.

Tots Praise

We meet at 2.15pm on the second Wednesday of each month at either St Margaret's, Halstead, or St Katharine's, Knockholt. All pre-school children and babies and their carers are welcome to join us for a fun and informal time of stories, songs and activities, followed by playtime plus drinks and biscuits!
